Welcome to the support page for BabelEar v1.0, your real-time voice-to-voice translation app.

Getting Started

• Ensure your headset is properly connected.
• Open the BabelEar app.
• Select your output language from the "Translate to" dropdown.
• Tap "Start Listening" to begin translation.

Common Issues

• App not translating: Check your internet connection and your OpenAI API key validity.
• No audio output: Verify headset connection and ensure it is selected as the audio output device.
• Slow or inaccurate translations: We are at the moment relying on OpenAI's Realtime. Support for some languages can be limited.

We're actively working on exciting new features to enhance your BabelEar experience, including:

• Voice Cloning for more natural-sounding translations
• Auto Muting yourself.
• Additional customization and accessibility options
